Privacy Policy

This explains what personal information AI Training Skool collects when you visit this site or enroll in the ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer certification, and how we use, share, and protect it.
Last updated: September 2026

This page explains what happens to your information when you use aitrainingskool.com, contact us, enrol in a course, sit an exam or receive a certificate through us. It is written to be read, not filed. By using the site or giving us your information you accept the practices described here. If anything is unclear, email support[at]aitrainingskool[dot]com and a person will answer.

Who we are

AI Training Skool is operated by AI Training Skool, Australia. On this page "we", "us" and "our" mean that entity. We provide ISO/IEC 42001 certification training as an Affiliate Partner of the Global AI Certification Council (GAICC). Course delivery, exams and certificates run on our partner platform under the terms set out here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, organisation and job title if you add them, the message you type into a form, your learner account details, and the billing information you enter at checkout. Card numbers go straight to our payment processor. We never store them.

Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, the pages you open, the time and date of your visit, the pages you arrive from and leave to, and the cookies described below.

Exam proctoring data. If you sit a remote proctored exam, we record webcam video, microphone audio and your screen for the length of the sitting, along with still snapshots taken at intervals, browser activity events and any automated flags raised by the proctoring software. Face, object and audio detection run inside your browser, on your device. The recordings, audio and snapshots are kept for three years and then deleted automatically. Proctor notes and results are kept as part of your certification record. Our Exam Privacy Policy covers this in full.

AI course advisor. If you use the chat assistant on our site, we process your name and the messages you send to answer you, personalise the conversation, keep the assistant running securely and improve it. The conversation stays visible in the chat window for about one hour after your last message. We keep a copy for operational, security, troubleshooting, audit and legal compliance purposes under the retention periods below. The assistant writes its answers automatically. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and they are not professional, legal or financial advice. Check anything important with a person before you act on it.

We do not ask for, and do not want, government ID numbers beyond the photo ID shown at exam check-in, health information, or anything else you would not put on a business card. If you send it anyway, we delete it.

How we use your information

  • To answer you when you write to us.
  • To process your order, open your learner account and give you access to the course you bought.
  • To deliver and proctor your exam, confirm your identity, and protect the integrity of your result.
  • To issue your certificate and digital badge and keep the record that supports them.
  • To send the emails you asked for: enrolment confirmation, receipt, course updates, exam reminders and, if you opted in, occasional news about ISO/IEC 42001 and AI governance. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works on the first click.
  • To understand which pages people read and which they leave, so we can fix the ones that do not work.
  • To keep our systems secure and to spot abuse.
  • To meet tax, accounting, consumer law and accreditation obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent lists. We do not let third parties advertise to you based on what you did here.

Affiliate and partner disclosure

We earn revenue when you buy a course through this site. That is how the site is funded. It does not change the price you pay compared with buying the same course elsewhere, and it does not change what we tell you about the course. Where this site links to a third-party page, the link is there because it is useful. If a link is ever paid for, the page will say so next to it.

Sharing your information

Service providers and vendors who help us deliver our services. Our certification partner platform for course delivery, exams and certificates, and the payment processors, email platforms, website hosting and analytics providers we use to run the site. Each is bound by a contract that limits what it can do with your data to the job we hired it for.

Employers or sponsors. Only if your seat was bought by your employer and only to confirm enrolment and completion. Never your exam recording, answers or proctor notes.

Authorities. If the law requires it, or to protect someone from harm, we hand over what we are legally obliged to and nothing more.

A buyer of the business. If AI Training Skool is sold or merged, your data goes with it, under the same promises you are reading now.

Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies, such as pixels and web beacons, to keep the site working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and measure our marketing.

  • Essential. Keep the site working and the checkout secure. You cannot switch these off without breaking the site.
  • Analytics. Tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from. The data is aggregated. We do not use it to identify you.
  • Marketing. Measure whether our advertising works. These stay off until you accept them.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being sent. If you disable cookies, some parts of the site, including the enrolment form and learner portal, may not work properly.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet our legal, accounting and accreditation obligations. Then we delete it or anonymise it.

Data Kept for
Enquiries and form submissions 24 months from the last message, then deleted
Learner account and course progress Your access window plus 12 months, so we can restore or extend access if you ask, then anonymised
Order and invoice records 7 years, because tax and accounting law requires it
Exam recordings, audio and snapshots 3 years, then deleted automatically
Proctor notes, flag logs and exam results Kept as part of your long-term certification and audit record
Marketing list Until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not add you back
Chat assistant transcripts 90 days, then deleted
Analytics data 14 months, then aggregated or deleted
Server logs 90 days

Where it is stored

If you use the site from outside the country in which we operate, your information may be transferred to, stored in or processed in a country other than your own, including by our service providers. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, whichever applies, and on data processing agreements with each provider.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restrict who on our side can see customer data, keep card handling entirely with the payment processor, and limit access to exam recordings to the people who review them. No system is perfect. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly and say what we know.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • show you what we hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it, unless we are required to keep it (invoices and certification records, for example);
  • stop using it for marketing;
  • give it to you in a portable format;
  • restrict or object to a particular use.

Email support[at]aitrainingskool[dot]com. We confirm receipt promptly and act within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, which protects you, not us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site and the courses on it are for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email you before it takes effect.
